Why Do We Do This...

Why do we not allow ourselves to feel our deepest emotions and runaway from what's going on inside of our hearts?

Could we be afraid of what we are feeling because it makes us feel vulnerable and being vulnerable doesn't feel good?

We must begin to tap into our true emotions from the heart of whatever we are feeling.

Allow yourself to embrace what you are feeling and begin to understand where your emotions and feelings are coming from. And trust me, they're coming from somewhere.

Maybe some event that might have happened in your past or something, but that's another conversation for another blog!

However, let me start by saying that I am guilty of this myself. So many times, I've found myself running away, disregarding my emotions and feelings that make me vulnerable and outside of my comfort zone.

As I work on myself, I am learning this is an important part of self-mastery and self-love. You must tap into your emotions of what you are feeling to understand yourself better and grow into your best version of you!

Allowing yourself to feel your emotions is an important part of processing and coping with them. It can be easy to push our emotions aside, try to ignore them, or pretend they don't exist. However, this can be detrimental to our mental health and overall well-being.

When we acknowledge and allow ourselves to feel our emotions, we give ourselves the opportunity to understand them better. We can identify why we're feeling a certain way, and work through the emotions in a healthy way.

It's important to remember that all emotions are valid and it's okay to feel a wide range of emotions, even if they're uncomfortable.

One way to allow yourself to feel your emotions is to practice mindfulness.

This means being present in the moment and acknowledging your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Being compassionate and patient with yourself, just as you would be with someone else.

Also, you could try journaling, talking to a trusted friend or therapist, or engaging in a creative activity like painting, writing, listening to music, meditation or even journaling.

In summary, allowing yourself to feel your emotions can be difficult, but it's an important part of taking care of yourself and processing your emotions in a healthy way.

It's also a big part of getting to know your authentic true self more and more each day!

Remember, being uncomfortable is your self-evaluation that leads to self-elevation.
