READ THIS! Choose You!



Hey Royal Fam!


Self-care is an essential part of wellness. Living in a fast past world where everything is quick, quick, fast and in a hurry, we must take time to slow it down and "Choose You" over all that's going on.


If some of you have followed me for a while you will know that many things have changed towards the importance of positive thinking and establishing a healthy lifestyle and relationship with yourself. As much as we love our husbands, kids, family, friends and maybe even the job, you can get burnt out with nothing left to give. This is when you must look in the mirror and say "I Choose You!"


You have to create a self-care plan. It's not enough to say to yourself that you are going to do better. Honestly we are creatures of habit. You need a reset in your life to not live in repeat. Stop saying you're going to do better and start making a blueprint for a better and greater you.


The reality is you cannot be all things to all people. You cannot please everyone no matter how hard you try. Ultimately, we try to be all things to all people because we have great trepidation about simply being. What I am saying is have the courage to simply be who you are! Your authentic self, will benefit more people than you every imagined. So stop trying to save the world by losing yourself and "Choose YOU" trust me, everything else will fall in place.


Make space for self-care and self-awareness in your everyday routine. First thing in the morning before most people wake up, I start my day with gratitude, mediatation/prayer, write in my journal and do some form of exercise. This is a morning practice I implement to fill my cup up before the day begins, so I can be my best self throughout the day.


Surround yourself with like-minded people. Sometimes you have to break away from family members friends and even the work place, that are not on the same page as you and that's okay. Always Choose YOU and your well-being. Do the things that elevate your mind, everyday move your body and create a calm peaceful spirit.
